Why is Bear Creek Goods Soap better for me than store brand soap?
Commercial soaps take out the glycerin that naturally occurs during the soapmaking process to sell separately for use in lotions and other products to make a bigger profit. Often they use animal-based oils (lard and tallow) to make their soap which tends to dry your skin.
Bear Creek Goods is committed to making high-quality soap and bath products. We leave in the good, moisturizing glycerin and add the best plant-based oils, herbs, and butter in all our products to create each handmade batch. That’s why our soap is better for you.
Will your soap melt like other handmade soaps I have tried?
We use a blend of oils that keeps the soap firm, yet moisturizing. Since our handmade soap contains natural glycerin, you shouldn't let it sit in a soap dish that doesn't drain well or let it sit in water or it may get mushy. You can purchase soap savers from Bear Creek Goods to keep your soap dry.

How soon will I receive my order?
After your order is placed, you can expect it to ship within 1-3 business (M-F) days. Usually, shipping takes 2-5 days for packages 5 pounds or less.
How much is shipping?
We primarily ship using USPS and offer flat rate shipping for the continental U.S. plus Hawaii and Alaska. The price varies based on your geographical location and orders over $45 are shipped for free.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes, we sell wholesale. For wholesale orders email us at jkkarre@bearcreekgoods.com. We will need your business name and business tax ID to complete all wholesale orders. Or place wholesale orders through Faire.
How do I contact support if I have questions about my points?

I have really dry skin. Will your soap work for me?
Our soaps are good for dry skin! All of our soaps have one or more specialty oils (e.g. mango butter, castor oil, avocado oil, and/or shea butter) that produce extra moisturizing for your skin.
I have really oily skin. Will your soap work for me?
Our soaps are good for oily skin too! Some commercial soaps strip the skin of all-natural oil by using chemicals in their formula which can be very drying and cause your skin to overproduce oil to compensate. Our soap has a natural balance of moisturizing oils and glycerin that will keep your skin healthy without overproducing oil.
I have very sensitive skin. Will your soap work for me?
If you have very sensitive skin, it is best to stay away from fragrance oils and some essential oils. Our Bare Bar has all the moisturizing benefits of our other handmade soaps without any fragrances or essential oils that may irritate sensitive skin.
Are there any aromatherapy benefits from using Bear Creek Goods Soap?
Yes. Every soap that is made with essential oils has some aromatherapy benefit. For example, lavender is said to be calming and stress-reducing. Scents from the mint and citrus families are energizing. If our soap has aromatherapy benefits, they will be highlighted in the description.
Why do you use essential oils?
Essential oils are natural organic substances produced in various aromatic plants. They can occur in any part of the plant and are most often produced by steam distillation. We use essential oils for their healing and aromatherapy properties.
Why do you use fragrance oils?
Fragrance oils are man-made and often contain a blend of essential oils in their formulation. We use fragrance oils in some products because the scent is not otherwise available from plant-derived sources.
